  • Provides customers exceptional service that aligns to Chick-fil-A standards and core values, which are: Integrity, Servant Leadership, Urgency, and Stewardship

  • Demonstrates knowledge of products, services, and sales promotions offered to assist customers and team members

  • Understands all team member roles and responsibilities 

  • Performs Front of House register functions efficiently to include completing cash, card and coupon transactions with minimal cash overages/shortages and errors

  • Ensures that all food items on menu are prepared and available for service at all times

  • Ensures cleaning tasks are completed, to include but not limited to, clean and sanitize equipment and work areas, keep floor areas clean, wash dishes, recycle boxes and dispose of trash as assigned

  • Provides feedback, positive reinforcement, and coaching to team members in a timely manner

  • Assists Training Director to ensure team members are appropriately trained

  • Ensures cash controls and registers reconciliation protocol are completed as defined by Chick-Fil-A guidelines

  • Assists leadership team to ensure sales goals are met by motivating team members

  • Proactively shares ideas and best practices with leadership to streamline business processes and resolve problems


Minimum qualifications

  • Available to work at least 20 hours a week

  • Available to either work opening or closing shifts

  • Must be available to work Saturdays

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to communicate effectively in English

  • Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility

  • Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior

  • Able to reach, bend, stoop, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds

  • Able to stand and/or walk during shift and move freely throughout the restaurant

  • Able to listen to and input guests' orders and read video monitors

  • Must obtain a California Food Handler's Card from an accredited organization before start date 


Preferred qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent 

  • Previous restaurant experience is valued, but not required

  • Available to work full-time with variable shifts

  • ServeSafe certification
